With the revolutionary slogan “Wrinkles Are Beautiful,” he dressed a generation that longed to be different. He became the architect of a new aesthetic for a country embracing a new ethical spirit.
With unprecedented access and a deeply personal gaze, the documentary retraces his life from his childhood in Trives (Galicia), to his time in prison during the Franco regime, his formative years in Paris, and his rise to international acclaim. Yet this is not a conventional biographical film. It is not a designed narrative, it is a discovered one. Born from a cinephile passion, the film seeks light and shadow, revealing the lesser-known dimensions of a complex, polyhedral man.
