Alejandro Marín will be at the ASFF 2024 Opening Night, alongside La Dani, on Friday April 12 at Pathé Tuschinski, presenting their film TE ESTOY AMANDO LOCAMENTE. They will also attend a Q&A after the screenings of the film on Saturday April 13, at LAB111 and Filmkoepel Haarlem.

Alejandro Marín graduated in 2018 in Film Direction from the ESCAC (Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya) with the short film ‘Nacho no conduce’ and the collective feature film ‘La filla d ́algú’. In 2021, he directed ‘Maricón Perdido’, a series created by Bob Pop and obtained the Ondas award for Best Comedy Series.

In 2023, he premiered his first solo film, ‘Te estoy amando locamente’. Shot in Seville and starring Ana Wagener, Omar Banana and Alba Flores, the film is framed in the beginnings of the Sevillian LGTBI movement in the middle of the Spanish Transition. ‘Te estoy amando locamente’ received five nominations for the Goya Awards (including Best New Direction and Best Original Screenplay, finally winning Best Original Song) and four for the Feroz Awards, including Best Comedy, winning Best Supporting Actor for La Dani.
