Celia de Molina is an Andalusian filmmaker nominated for a Goya in 2025 for her short film Cuarentena.
In 2010, she began her career as a director/creator by founding Garaje Lumière, an interdisciplinary space that hosts the most avant-garde proposals in alternative theater in the Spanish capital. She served as its artistic director for three years.
She is the creator of the series El Antivlog (Filmin), featuring, among others, J.A. Bayona, Natalia de Molina, and Úrsula Corberó.
As a screenwriter, she has worked on the series Invisible (Disney+), and has developed projects for production companies such as Morena Films, El Terrat, and Alea Media, among others.
She is currently developing her first feature film No soy universal, selected for the Residencies of the Academy of Cinema, winner of Abycine Lanza 2024, and for which she has received direction mentorship from Isabel Coixet.
She is the vice president of CIMA (Association of Women in Audiovisual Media) and is a member of the Academy of Cinema of Spain and the Academy of Cinema of Andalusia.
