Born in Barcelona, Greta Fernández began her acting career at the age of 13 under the direction of Cesc Gay in Ficción. After this first experience, she moved to Boston to study an acting course at the New York Film Academy, held at Harvard University. Upon

In film, she won the Silver Shell at the 67th edition of the San Sebastián Film Festival, as well as the CEC Medal and the “A Star Is Born” award from Días de Cine, for her role as Sara in La hija de un ladrón, directed by Belén Funes. For La próxima piel, by Isaki Lacuesta, she received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the 2017 Gaudí Awards. She has also starred in films such as Unicornios by Àlex Lora; Elisa y Marcela, directed by Isabel Coixet; and Teresa, by Paula Ortiz.

She has also taken part in international co-productions such as Cuckoo, by Tilman Singer, and Squali, by Daniele Barbiero. This year, she has upcoming releases including The Guests, by Cristina Diz and Stefan Butzmühlen, and Hugo 24, by Luc Knowles.

In television, Greta has appeared in the popular series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, created by David Zabel; the miniseries El gran salto, directed by Roger Gual; and 30 Monedas, by Álex de la Iglesia for HBO.

Finally, in theatre, she starred in the play Amanda T, a story inspired by Amanda Todd and adapted by Álex Mañas.
