Jaime Lorente will be at the ASFF 2024 Opening Night on Friday April 12 at Pathé Tuschinski, presenting his film DISCO, IBIZA LOCOMIA. He will also attend a Q&A after the screening of the film on Saturday April 13, at LAB111.

Jaime Lorente is an actor from Murcia, who graduated from the Superior School of Dramatic Art in Murcia. He has participated in theater productions such as “Equus,” for which he won the Best Actor Award in the first edition of the María Jesús Sirvent Awards, “El público,” and has even toured American countries with “El secreto a voces” and “De fuera vendrá,” as well as with “La venganza de las mujeres.”

He made his acting debut on the big screen with the film “La sombra de la ley” directed by Dani de la Torre, marking the beginning of his film career. He then appeared in “Everybody Knows” by Asghar Farhadi, “Who Would You Take to a Deserted Island?” by Jota Linares, “42 Seconds” by Dani de la Orden, and “Tin & Tina” by Rubin Stein. Currently, he is awaiting the release of his latest project DISCO, IBIZA, LOCOMIA, which will hit theaters on  May 17th in Spain (a month before in ASFF), where he portrays Xavi Font, the leader of the musical group.

His recent works, which have garnered great success, include his role as the main character in “Money Heist”, where he portrayed Denver, and was nominated for “Best Supporting Actor in Television” by the Actors Union, as well as starring in “El Cid” on Prime and “Cristo y Rey” available on Atresmedia. Recently, he has appeared in the Netflix series “Mano de Hierro,” which has just been released.
