Written and directed by Academy Oscar Award nominated Esteban Crespo, Amar is a film about intense emotions, in which the viewer’s gaze will be focused on the two main characters, reflecting a world of contradictions that are so typical of youth. Carlos is starting university and plans to study law.
Laura and Carlos love each other as if each day were their last. Despite their youth, their love leads them to experiment sexually beyond what is socially acceptable. They want to be free to live out their wild love, but their families are in their way.
