Muy lejos is a captivating odyssey about personal discovery and emotional survival. Starring Mario Casas as Dani, the film follows the young man who, after travelling to Utrecht with his family for a sports event, makes an impulsive decision following a panic attack: to stay in the Netherlands and sever all ties with his past.
Without money, friends, or knowledge of the language, Dani must face a new environment while struggling to find purpose. As he distances himself from his previous life, the protagonist embarks on an internal journey as challenging as his external one.
