Every year ASFF offers the very best in contemporary Spanish cinema to schools with the aim of introducing students to the languages and cultures of this territory. ASFF offers this selection to school audiences, from elementary school to high school. With a focus on promoting language learning and cultural understanding, the ASFF Education Program caters to schools from elementary to high school. Each year, we curate a diverse selection of films to spark curiosity, foster discussions, and introduce young audiences to the languages, history, and cultural heritage of Spain. This program provides students with the opportunity to experience cinema as a powerful tool for learning while expanding their perspectives on Spanish-speaking cultures. Schools can select from age-appropriate films, and screenings are often accompanied by pedagogical resources, including guides, interactive discussions, and workshops that are aligned with educational curricula.
Are you a Spanish teacher interested in joining one of our screenings? We offer activities for higher education, high school and primary school students and for all different levels of Spanish proficiency. Reach out to us onĀ education@sinfincinema.com
During our tenth anniversary edition, the ASFF educational program was very proud to receive the official endorsement of Their Majesties Queen Maxima of the Netherlands and Queen Letizia of Spain. They attended the special educational screening in the beautiful room 1 of Pathe Tuschinski of the movie CAMPEONEX by Javier Fesser. After the screening, the students had the chance to ask questions to the director.
