A special film selection which presents Spanish works that defy tradition and have the courage to experiment with something beyond and on the periphery of the Spanish cinematographic industry. SCWF presents the works of Spanish talented filmmakers who are artistic, experimental and Avant-Garde in their nature. We are interested in works that are concerned with artistic expression and that go beyond the boundaries of traditional narrative. Our main objective is to offer a space of knowledge and discussion around works that challenge forms of fictional narrative and documentary methods. Our aim is to embrace and welcome new experimental, artistic and under- ground Spanish films through new filmmakers and cineastes who experience both the form and content of the moving image practice.
