The Spanish Film Festival is returning to The Hague this year! This edition will take place in Pathé Buitenhof from 4 to 8 NOV.
We are delighted to announce the official poster of The Hague Spanish Film Festival, honouring the image above of Las niñas (Schoolgirls) by Pilar Palomero, which will officially premiere across the three cities. The Hague SFF is coming this fall season with a special line-up.
La inocencia by Lucía Alemany will be the opening film of The Hague edition, and the film will also open the Festival’s program in Amsterdam (28 OCT — 1 NOV) and Rotterdam (4 — 8 NOV).
Join us and discover this year’s program. Celebrate the most powerful, thought-provoking and enjoyable Spanish films of the year. Soon we will reveal the entire line-up!
ABOUT Las niñas (PILAR PALOMERO, 2020): The first generation of women in Spain that were encouraged to be whatever they wanted to be: to study, to be independent, women of the future… ‘Schoolgirls’ is the story of many of the women of today, told through the education they received from the Spain of 1992.
