Flores Para Antonio

Alba Flores, internationally recognized for her role in La casa de papel, embarks on a deeply personal journey in Flores para Antonio, a moving documentary that explores the life
When Alba was only eight years old, Antonio passed away, and she stopped singing, unable to confront the absence of the voice she had inherited from him. Now, as an adult and an established actress, Alba decides to reclaim her voice and reconcile her personal history with her father’s musical legacy.
Guided by conversations with her mother, Ana Villa, her aunts Lolita Flores and Rosario Flores, as well as friends and collaborators, Alba reconstructs Antonio’s memory through previously unseen material: home videos, photographs, drawings, rehearsals, and concerts. More than a conventional biopic, the documentary unfolds as an act of tribute, remembrance, and reconciliation, where music becomes both an emotional thread and a bridge between generations.
Flores para Antonio is an intimate portrait of love, loss, and artistic legacy, transforming a family story into a shared and universal cultural experience, inviting reflection on identity, memory, and our connection to our roots.
