Paula Veleiro López (Ourense, 1986) studied Audiovisual Communication in Santiago de Compostela and specialized in Film Directing at the CECC (Barcelona). In 2012, she moved to France, where she spent 10 years making music videos, short films, videos for music festivals, concerts, and trailers.
In 2024, she premiered her first feature film Te separas mucho, which was selected during its production phase for CIMA Impulsa, Novos Cinemas, L’alternativa, and Intersección, and won the Best Editing Award at the Gijón International Film Festival. In her quest to explore all kinds of languages, she began a new phase as the singer of ‘La rate timide’, a music band for which she also writes the lyrics. She is currently working on her first novel, which received support from the Residència Literària Finestres.
